Hollyhock Romper
The Hollyhock Romper started by pattern business in 2023 after a video of it went viral on tiktok. Within a month of posting that video, I taught myself how to grade a pattern, create digital pattern files, and design an Etsy listing. Since then, I have sold over 10k romper patterns and turned my pattern shop into my full-time job.
Shortly after releasing the romper pattern I published a matching sunhat pattern.
I continued posting videos of the romper and I made new samples to style for colder weather.
I received many glowing reviews and got to see peoples’ creations posted on Instagram.
After three years and three more pattern releases, I had learned a lot of new things about digital sewing patterns. In the spring of 2026 I decided it was time to give the Hollyhock Romper an update.
I rereleased the romper with more sizes, tidier files, and a rewritten instruction booklet.
